Welcome
Info
Greetings! My name is Richard, and I am a student at Michigan State University, College of Engineering/Computer Science. Although I enjoy working with computers, graphic design is my greatest passion, and I sometimes practice drawing in my free time.
I like to play video games and watch YouTube (as most people my age do...), and I would love to combine all my skills to develop a game by myself someday!
Education
I attended high school at Vincent Massey Secondary School in Windsor, Ontario, where I took a number of "enriched" courses to build my knowledge early. Although I didn't do too well in those classes, they helped ease me into university after I graduated in 2020. Unfortunately, COVID-19 prevented me from having a formal graduation ceremony, but I stayed home without any complaints and slowly taught myself how to draw during lockdown.
The pandemic did make transitioning to university more difficult, and I wound up missing several online orientation meetings during the summer of 2020 by accident. In my freshman year, I chose to do Honors Calculus by recommendation, though the influx of homework and lectures nearly burned me out that year. Nevertheless, I completed two semesters of Honors Calculus and opted out in my sophomore year.
